Local Rules

  • The CANAL is played as a lateral water hazard
  • Designated Drop Areas are marked on holes #2, #11, and #15
  • Pace of Play:  A foursome is expected to play in 4 hours and 10 minutes
  • Power Carts must be driven on the cart path or on the fairway.  Do Not drive in the rough, on the mounds, or in the fescue grass.

Dress Code

  • Golf course attire is required
    • Collared shirts (polo or mock), Golf Pants / Slacks or Golf Shorts (mid thigh)
    • Golf shoes or soft soled shoes must be worn.  No metal spikes allowed.
    • No jeans, sweat pants, track pants, t-shirts, or tank tops.
Any golfer that does not meet the dress code will NOT be allowed on the golf course or on the driving range.

Course Etiquette

  1. Please use proper golf etiquette on the course at all times.
  2. Abusive conduct to our staff or other golfers will NOT be tolerated
  3. Please remember to always fix your ball marks, replace or sand divots and rake the sand traps
  4. KEEP power carts ON THE PATH or ON THE FAIRWAYS.  KEEP OUT of the rough, the mounds and out of the fescue grass and obey all signs
  5. We are implementing a program to protect our golf course.  We ask that you report all cases of golfers in front of you or behind you that are driving their power carts in the rough or on the mounds and fescue.  You are watching them and they are also watching you! 
  6. Please leave the course in the great condition you found it.

Speed of Play

  • Our goal at The Canal at Delacour is to keep rounds at 4 hours and 10 minutes or less
  • Please be aware of your pace so all of our customers can enjoy their round
  • Player Assistants will be on the course to assist you in meeting our speed of play goals.  You must respect their authority.

Booking and No-show Policy

  • Please book the correct # of players
  • Cancellation policy is 24 hours
  • The Canal at Delacour considers No-shows or showing up with fewer players than your booking indicates a serious offence.  Repeat offenders may lose their booking privileges
